Course Objectives
The primary objective of this certificate course is to provide healthcare professionals with advanced knowledge and skills in nutrition, enabling them to:
- Understand the role of nutrition in maintaining optimal health and preventing diet-related diseases
- Perform accurate nutritional assessments and develop personalized dietary plans for patients.
- Gain expertise in managing various diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, gastrointestinal tract disorders, renal diseases, and more, through appropriate nutrition interventions.
- Develop proficiency in weight management strategies, ICU and post-operative nutritional care, and specialized dietary plans for pregnant women, lactating mothers, and children.

Course Structure
The course consists of fourteen modules that cover a wide range of topics essential to advanced nutrition for healthcare professionals. Each module will delve into specific areas of nutrition and its relevance to clinical practice. The course will be conducted over two months, with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays. The hybrid mode of instruction will provide both online sessions and physical practical classes, allowing for a comprehensive learning experience.

DURATION OF THE COURSE
The course is for two months. The class will be conducted each Friday and Saturday afternoon, and this will be in hybrid mode (Practical class will be taken physically). A total of 2.5 credits.
